We are looking to recruit a Branch Manager for Namwala  Branch with strong leadership and sales experience who can drive growth. The ideal candidate will excel in team management, customer relations, marketing, risk management, and reporting, ensuring high levels of service and performance across the branch.



Responsibilities

  • Assessing local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities;
  • Leading a productive environment that fosters team building, hard work and diligence;
  • Maintaining relationships with customers and stakeholders;
  • Marketing through identification of target markets;
  • Managing and handling the cases of customers' complaints which will be escalated from the consultants;
  • Sending monthly reports to the main branch, and giving updates on the business status;
  • To Ensure risk is minimized by exploring risk management strategies;
  • To ensure high levels of customer service and sales;
  • Locating areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities;
  • Sharing knowledge with other branches and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs of customers;
  • Adhering to high ethical standards, and comply with all regulations/credit policy;
  • Networking to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company;
  • Stay abreast of competing markets and provide reports on market movement and penetration;
  • Approving of loans;
  • Overseeing people management at the branch level;and
  • Performing any other duties as assigned.

Required:

  • Diploma or Degree in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, or a relevant field;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Should have Ability to Multitask and execute assigned tasks effectively;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;and
  • Leadership skills.
